Whether Winter or Summer, Nendaz and
the surrounding areas have a wealth of history and culture to
explore.
Nendaz has its Old Village where you can take in the old
traditional homes, barns and storehouses or you can have a wander
around the Tsablo Water Mill which has been fully restored and is
in full working order.
Other popular regional sights are The Tithehouse of Basse
Nendaz, the Castle of Brignot and the forever sleepy Hamlet of
Verrey.
Slightly further afield in the Central
Valais region there are many other attractions such as the Natural
History Museum in Sion, the Thermal Baths, the Basilica at Valere,
and adventure parks galore for the kids with high rope and
tree climbing amongst other things.
All in all, there is something for
everyone.
