Le Déserteur SA reserves the right to change, modify, add or
remove portions of these terms and conditions at any time and make
changes to the products described in the site without notice or
liability. Please check periodically for changes.
The following Terms and Conditions apply.
The price you pay:
Rates quoted are per room, per night, per person and includes
breakfast based upon the room occupancy selected (unless otherwise
specified), subject to availability. Normal supplements apply for
upgraded accommodation. These rates are applicable for new bookings
only. All prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are
not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to
change without any prior notice. Where an evening meal is included
in the price this is described as half board basis. The full
price for each stay, with the addition of all extras incurred
during your stay, are to be settled in full before departure, by
cash, or credit/debit card (MasterCard or Visa). VAT is included at
the current prevailing rate where applicable.
A transaction fee will be applied to all bookings made with a
credit card. This is to recover the credit card companies' charges
to us. All credit cards will incur a percentage charge of 2%
with a minimum charge of CHF 10. Payment by debit card is
free.
The total price of your booking shown online will not reflect
any credit charges. Payment for your booking and any applicable
credit card charges will be processed by the hotel.
Offers:
Not valid on existing bookings. Bookings are taken at the
discretion of the Hotel and are subject to availability. Offers are
subject to change. All the prices shown are applicable at the time
of booking and are not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
Prices may be restricted or may not apply at certain times.
Your booking:

Check In / Check Out:
Check-in is 14.00pm and check-out is 10.00am. Your room may be
available before 14.00pm, however, this cannot be guaranteed and
the hotel will arrange storage of your luggage until your room is
ready. A late checkout may be available during your stay, please
check with the hotel reception on arrival.
Special arrangements:
Whilst every effort is made to fulfill your requests,
unfortunately, we cannot guarantee these and failure to do so will
not constitute a breach of contract.
Cancellations / Amendments:
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
For individual bookings, no charges apply if the cancellation is
made at least 72 hours before the expected date of arrival. In case
the cancellation is made within 72 hours of arrival, the first
night will be charged at 100%. The same case applies in case of a
no show.
For group bookings (5 bedrooms and more), no charges apply if
the cancellation is made at least 2 weeks before the expected date
of arrival.
Reservations cancelled less than 2 weeks before the expected
date will incur 50% of the total charges.
In all cases, any deposits will be lost when cancelling any
bookings.
Extension of stay:
In case the client wishes to extend their reservation during
their stay, the Hotel cannot guarantee the extension of the stay in
the same room, or even in the same hotel.
In case the client wishes to extend their reservation prior to
their arrival at the hotel, the client must contact the Hotel
directly as soon as possible.
Modifications:
In case the client wishes to shorten the duration of their stay
after their arrival at the hotel, no refund will be available.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your
reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this does arise you
can 1) accept the changed arrangements as notified, 2) make an
alternative arrangement with us or 3) cancel your reservation and
receive a full refund of any monies paid.
Food & Beverage:
All food and beverages are served in the restaurant or bar. All
choices are set out in the menus. All bedroom bookings include
breakfast which is served between 0700 hours to 1000 hours.
For those on half board bookings a specific menu is available to
choose from and is different each day, should you wish to choose an
alternative dish to the half board selection then a supplement will
be added which will be payable on check out.
The bar is open from 1200 hours until 2300 hours.
The restaurant is open from 1830 hours to 2300 hours with the
last bookings available at 2130 hours.
Smoking Policy:
Le Déserteur is committed to providing its guests with a
smoke-free environment.
When guests smoke in their rooms or other public areas, the
Hotel is enforced to charge an amount of CHF 150 per incident. This
amount will be used to clean the room, in order to prevent future
guests experiencing the inconvenience of the smell.
Child Policy:
Le Déserteur welcomes guests of all ages and we endeavour to
make travelling with children even more enjoyable for the whole
family. Children's menus and snacks are available and we will
organise destination information with family-orientated
activities.
When staying with children you may benefit from:
* Children up to 2 years may share their
parent's room at no extra charge
* Children between 3 and 6 years benefit from a
50% discount on the extra bed charge
* Children from 7-12 years receive a 30%
discount on the extra bed charge
* Breakfast is complimentary for children
under 2 years
Car Parks:
Hôtel Le Déserteur has its own car park, this is free of charge
to our guests. However, cars are left at the owner's/customer's own
risk. The company does not accept responsibility for loss or
damage.
Pet Policy:
Le Déserteur is one of the very few Hotels in
Nendaz that accepts Pets. However, we ask you to carefully review
the following Pet policy:
* Pet owners agree not to
leave their pet unattended at any time during their stay.
* Pets are not permitted
in any of the food & Beverage areas.
* Pets must always be on
a leash or in a cage while they are in any public or common areas
within the Hotel
* Maid service will be
provided only if the pet is removed from the room during the
service.
* Pet owners will be
fully responsible for any injuries to the Hotel employee or Hotel
guest caused by their pets
* Pet owners will be
responsible for the repairs of replacement of any items stained or
damaged by their pets.
Comments / Complaints:
In the event that you have any reason to complain or have any
comments, you must immediately inform reception. Any verbal
notification must be put in writing. If you remain dissatisfied,
you must write to the Hotel General Manager within 21 days of the
end of your stay giving your booking reference and full details of
your complaint:
